Carbon fiber exposed to UV will exhibit some resin yellowing over time. While our experience has been that in most cases the changes over time has been less than expected, in some cases with more exposure this is accelerated. If your application will be exposed to UV over longer periods, it is recommended that an automotive clearcoat be applied to the carbon fiber. This can be done by any automotive body shop using standard painting methods. In addition, anodized components are more affected by UV exposure.
